'Michael Jackson's This Is It' crosses the $100 million mark

Reuters is reporting that Michael Jackson’s This Is It has crossed the $100 million mark at the international box office. Going into its second weekend, the concert-rehearsal documentary has grossed $144 million worldwide, $44 million of which are from North American ticket sales. The total worldwide haul is more than double that of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds, which had held the record for the highest-grossing concert film of all time. Outside of the United States and Canada, the biggest markets for This Is It through Thursday night were Japan ($18.2 million), Britain ($11.1 million) and Germany ($8.9 million).
