Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall, the story of Henry VIII’s infamous quest for a male heir told through the eyes of a royal advisor, was honored with the Man Booker prize for fiction. The award, which includes approximately an $80,000 prize, rewards the best English-language novel from British, Irish or Commonwealth authors. According to the AP, Mantel, a former social worker and film critic, is currently working on a sequel.
