Liam Neeson has joined the cast of The Next Three Days, a thriller directed by Paul Haggis, Variety reports. The film stars Russell Crowe as the husband of a woman (Elizabeth Banks) who is wrongly imprisoned for murder; Neeson will play an ex-con who can help with an escape attempt. The film is currently shooting.
