Hey hey hey, Runway fans. As promised, I bring you the hotly hopefully mildly anticipated premiere of’s newest weekly series, Project Runway Talk, in which my colleague Dalton Ross and I chat with the most recently ousted Runway contestant. This week we sat down with Louise Black, whose attempt at going “a little more over the top” for the Macy’s challenge ended in her getting Auf’d. Click below to hear what the gal with a gift for bird calls had to say — in both avian language and English! — about missing out on Nina and Michael, Nicolas’ slippery doublespeak, and what shall henceforth be known as The Case of the Missing Bobbin.

Oh, and since many of you have been wondering on the message boards just where on earth Nina Garcia has been for the past five weeks, allow me to shed some light. It appears that Señora Don’t Bore Me was in France covering the Paris shows when the last handful of episodes taped. She’ll return later this month. Michael Kors was back this week (woo-hoo!) after a business trip to Europe. Here’s what Lifetime had to say about their absence: “As in previous seasons, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia were not able to appear in every episode of Project Runway due to their busy work schedules. Michael and Nina are an important part of Project Runway and either one, if not both, will be seen in every single remaining episode of Season Six on Lifetime through the show’s finale.”

Alrighty then. Now on to Louise:
