Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff told the Associated Press today that based on a report he’d received about the care of Michael Jackson’s children, he is “very pleased.” “It looks like the children are really doing wonderfully with their grandmother guardian,” Beckloff said, and sealed the report, expecting further updates will be unnecessary. The late pop star’s kids — Prince Michael, 12; Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11; and Prince Michael II, or “Blanket,” 7 — were placed in the custody of their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, as per his 2002 will; she has since been designated their permanent guardian.
