We grade the fashion of the Emmys
BEST DRESSED
DREW BARRYMORE
After sporting two-tone hair on Leno (a definite don’t), Barrymore stunned again — this time in a good way —as the blushing nominee in a breathtaking Monique Lhuillier. A+
RUNNER-UP
BLAKE LIVELY
Anyone can show skin, so it takes commitment to make sexy stand out. Cue Lively’s high braid — a nod to Princess Leia? — which made the Gossip girl’s Versace truly red-hot. A
BEST OF THE REST!
SANDRA OH
The Grey’s Anatomy star has had her share of fashion slipups, but this perfectly fitted Marchesa column — set off with a rope trim — is far from one of them. A-
CHLOE SEVIGNY
We’ve come to expect the unexpected from Sevigny. And in an Isaac Mizrahi that marries polka dots (polka dots!) with a classic goddess silhouette, she didn’t disappoint. B+
MILA KUNIS In a fun and flirty Monique Lhuillier, the Family Guy star showed how to bring youthful energy — and gorgeous color — to awards-show dressing. B+
JANUARY JONES
We’d be blown away by the retro star’s futuristic choice of this glass-grommeted Versace…if only we weren’t so distracted by the little bits of flesh peeking out of her top. B
OLIVIA WILDE
The House star could have ushered in an era of decoupage chic with this risk-taking Marchesa…and then she turned around. C+
PADMA LAKSHMI
In the future, we’d appreciate it if the Top Chef host left the dinner-table garnishes on the dinner table, thank you very much. D+
SARAH SILVERMAN
Sarah, we really liked the mustache you put on during the ceremony. This electric blue, hip-bustled dress, not so much. F
HEY, LADIES! STOP DRESSING LIKE YOUR GRANDMA!
