Eminem and Apple Inc. are heading to court over a dispute involving the rapper’s music being sold on iTunes, Reuters reports. In a 2007 lawsuit, Eminem’s music publisher, Eight Mile Style LLC, accused Apple of selling 93 of the musician’s songs on iTunes without permission. Final attempts at a settlement have failed, setting up a trial that is expected to start Sept. 24 in Detroit, Mich. Eight Mile Style is claiming that Apple has earned $2.58 million from iTunes downloads of Eminem’s music. It is unknown whether the rapper will testify during the trial.
