Colin Farrell, Cillian Murphy and Gabriel Byrne are set to star in the big-screen adaptation of Flann O’Brien’s novel At Swim-Two-Birds, Variety reports. Fellow Irish actor Brendan Gleeson will co-star and make his directorial debut on the project, which he also wrote. The story follows a 19-year-old playwright who sees his fictional characters intertwining with real people. That film’s Irish production company Parallel Pictures also has Liam Neeson lined up to star in its cover band story The Virgin of Las Vegas.
