Norah Jones has announced that she will release her fourth studio album in November. The as-yet-untitled collection will feature Jones playing mostly guitar, rather than piano. The CD boasts songwriting contributions from Will Shef of Okkervil River and Ryan Adams, with whom Jones previously duetted on Adams’ 2005 album, Jacksonville City Nights. Jones also enlisted the assistance of Kings of Leon and Modest Mouse producer Jacquire King.

It all sounds like something of a change of pace for the singer who has sold 36 million records worldwide. What do you think Music Mixers? Are you excited for a new album from the award-winning chanteuse? Is she wise to step out from behind her piano?
