We’ve been fans of A.A. Bondy‘s plaintive, folk-dusted rock for a while now, so we’re glad to hear that the singer-songwriter is set to return with the follow-up to 2007’s critically appreciated American Hearts with When the Devil’s Loose, due September 1.

But if another two weeks feels like too long a wait, scratch your itch for new A.A. here: We’ve got an exclusive sneak stream of “I Can See the Pines Are Dancing” below:

var flashvars = {soundPath:”http://www.ew.com/ew/static/mp3/2009/08/Pines_are_Dancing.mp3″, autoplay:”no”};

var params = {};

var attributes = {};

swfobject.embedSWF(“http://www.ew.com/ew/static/mp3/singleplay/playerSingle.swf”, “singleflashPlayer”, “192”, “67”, “9.0.0”, “#FFFFFF”, flashvars);
