My afternoon has now lost all other function: Must PopWords is the only thing I can think about. Letters drop from the sky, and you make them disappear by typing out words they form. The game ends when you have 50 letter bubbles, or when you get fired for playing it all day instead of working, not that that’s going to happen to anyone, don’t worry.

I have to warn you that it’s insanely addictive and more than a little frustrating. But anyone with a speed-Scrabble jones or devotion to Boggle is going to flip out. (I’ve been on a Bananagrams bender recently, and it fits the same word-making mold.)

Do you have a favorite word game, PopWatchers? And what’s your high score for MPW? I’m stuck around the 4K range…
