X-Men director Bryan Singer is working with Syfy on a new six-hour action-adventure series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series will be in the vein of The Da Vinci Code and National Treasure, looking at the Mayan calendar’s prediction of the end of the world. Singer previously worked with the network on 2005 miniseries The Triangle. The new project was announced at the annual Television Critics Association press tour.
