We’re fond of John Stamos at PopWatch HQ (see: Annie singing along to Jesse & the Rippers’ “Forever” video yesterday in my office while insisting that the Beach Boys were in the Full House Hawaii episode when they weren’t ). But we’re absolutely loving the pictures he’s posting on Twitter. Not only have we gotten shots of him still playing with the Beach Boys (Maura Tierney caught his last summer gig on Saturday in Boston), but also of him preparing for Broadway’s Bye Bye Birdie revival, which begins previews Sept. 10. Pictured, you see Stamos (who’ll play Albert opposite Gina Gershon’s Rosie) with Nolan Funk (Conrad).

Sadly, we couldn’t post our favorite shot — the script he carried with him to today’s first official rehearsal. He had dinner with Liza Minnelli on Sunday, so we presume the autograph is authentic. She signed the cover “John — Take no prisoners” then drew an arrow to the next page, where she continued, “and f— the wounded!” Really, we can’t wait to see how he tops that. Follow him here.
