Jaime King and Lucas Cruikshank are attached to star in Emo Boy, the live-action adaptation of the graphic novels created by Stephen Emond, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The adaptation will focus on the title hero, a high schooler convinced he has “emo powers.” (In case you don’t know, “emo” refers to a especially angsty and sensitive breed of young person.) Cruikshank (iCarly, Hannah Montana) is set to portray Emo Boy, while King (My Bloody Valentine 3-D, The Spirit) will play Mrs. Hutcherson, a teacher and “emo sympathizer.”
