Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine, has lost her bid to be named a third trustee of her late son’s estate, the Associated Press reports. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff signed an order allowing the named trustees to go ahead with their administration of Jackson’s affairs over Mrs. Jackson’s objections. The pop star’s mother retains temporary custody of the singer’s three children. Michael Jackson died of undetermined cause June 25.
