Mark Geragos, an attorney defending R&B singer Chris Brown against a charge that he beat former girlfriend Rihanna in February, has asked the California Supreme Court to delay the case against Brown until it can rule on the lawyer’s attempt to get information from police. According to Reuters, Geragos wants details on a police probe of a photo that showed Rihanna looking bruised and bloodied. The appeal could delay a Los Angeles Superior Court hearing set for Monday, at which Rihanna is expected to testify. Brown would also be present.
