After Bret Michaels’ mishap at Sunday’s Tony Awards, the Internet was chortling away at the Poison lead singer and Rock of Love star’s nasty accident (he broke his nose and needed a few stitches for a cut lip.) Now we’re getting to see exactly just how injured Michaels was: he’s posted pictures of himself “following the incident at the Tony Awards” on his MySpace.

Apparently Michaels is miffed that the Tonys aren’t taking this all more seriously. A spokesperson for the singer issued a statement today saying: “I find it surprising that a Tony spokesperson would brush off this incident with a comment stating ‘Mr. Michaels missed his mark’ with no mention of concern for his condition.” Also: “I feel had this incident happened to Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton or Elton John, the Tonys would have at least issued a letter of concern.”

What do you think, Music Mixers? Now that you’ve seen the pictures, is this nothing more than a minor mishap, or does Michaels have a right to be upset?
