Why he co-wrote Thank You and You’re Welcome, a collection of self-help aphorisms
Me being a celebrity, people have asked me to write a book about this and that. But I didn’t want to write a book, like, running through my life story.

What he thinks the book’s most important tip is
”Get Used to Getting Used.” Most people would say to use someone carries a negative connotation. But I don’t agree. To use is necessary, and if you can’t be used, then you’re useless.

What he’ll be remembered for
Music is…definitely [what] I’ll be known for in history. This book isn’t about me. I’m giving anecdotes of things I’ve been through, but it’s about how you can apply them to your life.
