As much as I appreciate Kanye West’s later work, my favorite record of his by far is still his 2004 debut, The College Dropout. And of all the classic songs on that album, my favorite just might be “Spaceship” — a song which is not actually about interstellar travel, but rather working long shifts at the Gap. So how cool is it that the long-rumored video that Kanye shot for “Spaceship” all those years ago has finally hit the Web this week? “I DIRECTED THIS VIDEO FOUR YEARS AGO BUT I WASN’T SATISFIED WITH IT SO I NEVER RELEASED IT,” Yeezy blogged. “BUT NOW LOOKING BACK AT IT I LIKE IT.” I like it, too! Check out the new old “Spaceship” video below (some NSFW language) and let us know if you like it as much as Kanye and me.
