50 Cent to star in 'Caught in the Crossfire'
Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has signed on to star in the police drama Caught in the Crossfire, according to Variety. The movie, written and directed by first-timer Brian Miller, follows two homicide detectives who get tangled up in the corruption surrounding a gang-related murder. Jackson, who is exec producing the film through his Cheetah Vision Films banner, will play a gang member who becomes an informant. The rapper’s production slate also includes an untitled drama directed by Benny Boom (Next Day Air) and a retelling of Jekyll and Hyde, starring Jackson and Forest Whitaker.
