Martin Luther King Jr. will get the biopic treatment from Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks, Variety reports. The civil rights leader, assassinated in 1968 at 39, copyrighted his speeches and books; this project will be the first film authorized by his estate to create a definitive scripted portrait of his life.
