Jane Campion’s first film in six years, the Cannes-bound Bright Star, has a U.S. distributor. Variety is reporting that the film, about the doomed loved affair between English poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, will be the first film distributed by Bob Berney and William Pohlad’s new, still unnamed company. Abbie Cornish (Elizabeth: The Golden Age) and Ben Whishaw (Brideshead Revisited) will star.
