Ryan O’Neal, Farrah Fawcett’s longtime companion, will discuss the actress’ ongoing battle with cancer on NBC’s The Today Show in a two-part interview with Meredith Vieira airing Wednesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 14. In excerpts released by NBC, O’Neal tells Vieira, “In the last two years, I loved [Farrah] more than I’ve ever loved her — ever. She’s so much more of a woman and powerful, courageous, fearless and all those adjectives…. And she’s not afraid either. I never saw fear at all.”

Vieira also interviews close friend Alana Stewart, who defends Fawcett’s recent cancer treatments in Germany, explaining they are “very standard procedure [in the country]. They’re not crazy, alternative things. They’re actually medical.”

NBC will also air Farrah’s Story, a two-hour special culled from a video diary kept by the actress, this Friday, May 15, at 9 p.m. ET.
