The absence of American Idol‘s Thursday night cameo from last week left room for Survivor to take the lead in the 8 o’clock hour, while ratings behemoth CSI easily took the evening (despite a fairly hefty 20 percent decline). Meanwhile, a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy came in second for the night after three weeks of repeats. And the beginning of the end for NBC staple ER continued to gain viewers as its April 2 finale rapidly approaches.
