CNBC host Jim Cramer is finally going on The Daily Show tonight, after about a week of back-and-forth between Jon Stewart and the stock market pundit (which all started with Stewart’s smackdown of CNBC last week).Things have escalated since the original scathing series of clips, though:

I can’t tell if I’m excited to see how this plays out, or if I wish they’d keep it going and have TDS rip on Cramer et al for months and months. This stuff is comic gold! Plus, it’s the only time I get to laugh at the economy, which is basically…oh, let’s say it’s in the same club as the hotdogs, dogfood, and chess sets. Cramer was on Martha Stewart’s show today, where he gamely tried to lower expectations. Martha warned him that Jon is “fast as lightning,” and Cramer said that he himself is “slow as molasses.” Aaawwww. Cramer then said that the Daily Show host is his “idol,” which has made this whole saga painful. Again, aaaaw.

Okay, PopWatch pundits, whom are you placing your bets on tonight: Jon or Jim? Or do you stay far, far away from all things shouty and on cable?
