Downsizing will be director Alexander Payne’s first movie since Sideways (for which Payne won an Oscar for adapted screenplay), Variety reports. The new comedy will star Paul Giamatti and Reese Witherspoon as a married couple who opt to retire as “little people.” Also in the cast is Sacha Baron Cohen, who will reportedly play both a tiny Spaniard and his regular-sized twin brother. There’s no word yet on when the film will be released, as Payne is still tinkering with the script.
