With nothing more than a sharp knife, nimble-finered types can use the foldable designs in The Paper Architect to make everything from the Tower Bridge to the Taj Mahal.

Authors María Victoria Garrido Bianchini, Ingrid Siliakus, and Joyce Aysta must be awfully good at origami, because that’s what the detailed instructions call to mind. But even the uncrafty (if I’m any indication) can pull off these fairly complicated creations.
