Jimmy Fallon, whose film career post–Saturday Night Live has yielded lukewarm results like Fever Pitch and the Queen Latifah action comedy Taxi, tells EW that aside from a small role in Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut, Whip It! (produced by Fallon’s wife, Nancy Juvonen), he’s done with acting for now. So don’t expect the former SNL player and future Late Night

talk show host to be turning up on the big screen anytime soon (not that there are many Fallon fans hankering for a Taxi sequel). Then again, he cautions, he could be swayed to return to acting if a certain Family Ties alum is willing to costar. “Maybe a movie of the week,” jokes Fallon, who starts his new NBC hosting gig on March 2. “See if Meredith Baxter is available. I could really be into that.”
