Curtis Hanson has tackled Los Angeles gangsters (L.A. Confidential), Eminem (8 Mile), and sibling rivalry (In Her Shoes). Now the director is turning his sights to the future, climbing aboard the action-thriller Gemini Man at Disney. The Jerry Bruckheimer production centers on an aging assassin who wants to get out of the game but must first face his ultimate foe, his 25-year old clone who’s been trained as the ultimate killing machine. David Benioff (Troy) is working on the latest rewrite for Disney’s Touchstone Pictures. The original script is from Darren Lemke (screenwriter on the upcoming Shrek Goes Fourth).
