Stations in more than 70 percent of the country — including WNBC in New York and KTLA in Los Angeles — have agreed to pick up Marie Osmond’s hour-long talk show for the fall. In a statement, Osmond said her daytime yakker Marie, which will air five days a week, “will truly reflect my personality — optimistic, humorous, adaptable, inquisitive, concerned and rarely predictable.”

Osmond, who appeared on Dancing With the Stars in 2007, continues to perform in Las Vegas with her brother Donny, and is about to publish her second book, Might as Well Laugh About it Now, which will hit bookstores in April.
