I don’t know what intrigued me more when I read about Fox Reality Channel’s upcoming series, Househusbands of Hollywood: the gender-flipping concept of trophy husbands, the possibility that it might still push the idea that stay-at-home spouses are less than their professional other halves, or the fact that Tempestt Bledsoe (The Cosby Show; pictured, left) will be on TV again and she’s married to Dwayne Wayne’s little buddy. That’s right, Darryl M. Bell (otherwise known as Ron from A Different World; pictured, right) will be part of the cast, along with Jillian Reynolds (née Barberie, Good Day, L.A.) and her husband, Grant. Network execs seem to have high hopes for the show following in the ratings- and buzz-getting footsteps of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise; they may even be spawning a spin-off. I’d be totally psyched to watch the show when it starts in August, if I could only find Fox Reality on my cable….
