He’s been dubbed a relationship guru. And he’s already answered Meredith Vieira’s question: “Are you a chick magnet?” Now 9-year-old published author Alec Greven, who wrote the recently released dating-advice book How to Talk to Girls, can say he’s a Hollywood player. Twentieth Century Fox has optioned the film rights to his common-sense guide to wooing the ladies. Sample entry: “It can be very hard to get a girl to like you. Sometimes it takes years! Whatever happens, just don’t act desperate.” The precocious kid gleaned his knowledge from watching boy-girl interactions on the playground, and turned it into his third-grade writing assignment. He’s been a media sensation ever since.
