It’s been two-plus years since the Halliwell sisters closed up coven on Charmed. So with all the recent interest in the supernatural (okay, in Twilight), what better time to conjure up good witches Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Combs), Phoebe (Milano), and Paige (McGowan)? Hours of new extras include docs on the ladies’ powers and loves (among them: Eric ”McSteamy” Dane, Nip/Tuck‘s Julian McMahon, a pre?Brothers & Sisters Balthazar Getty). And don’t miss the unaired pilot with the original Phoebe, Lori Rom. Both the massive deluxe ($318) and notebook-size standard ($272) editions come in your very own Book of Shadows, and feature oodles of spells like ”To Hear Secret Thoughts.” The deluxe is almost an exact replica of the Charmed book, but at 13” by 16” by 3” and 9 pounds, we’d skip it. Unless you need to smack up some demons. B
