Oh hey, I don’t know if you guys knew this, but there’s some election thing coming up tomorrow? I seem to vaguely remember hearing about it for, oh, the past two years. I cast my vote via absentee ballot weeks ago, but I’m still pretty hyped about tomorrow’s main event, so I spent some time perusing the Internets today for sites to help get me in the votin’ mood. One such site, YouTube’s PBS-partnered Video your Vote, is a collection of user-generated clips of people’s voting experiences. Most are just regular Joe Sixpack folks, but also included are a few celebrities, like the clip below of hip-hop artist (and first-time voter) T.I. being interviewed by after he woke up early and waited in line to cast his early ballot.

Other cool election-related websites:

  • Check election updates from Twitter users
  • See The Onion’s election headquarters for all your satirical needs
  • The Daily Show has a great collection of Sarah Palin Halloween costume fan photos on Facebook
  • Enjoy pictures of Barack Obama holding babies but wish you could find them centralized in one convenient location? Wish no more, instead go to Yes We Can (Hold Babies)
  • Miss John McCain’s SNL appearance? Catch up with yesterday’s PopWatch post
  • To brush up on your past presidents, watch the Animaniacs recite them in order (it stops at Clinton, so feel free to update it with your own lyrics)

What about you, PopWatchers? What are some of your favorite election-themed sites?
