So, let’s see, it’s been a year now since Radiohead released In Rainbows online via a novel pay-what-you-like plan that was supposed to change the way music is sold. Has it? So far, it seems almost no one has followed in Radiohead’s footsteps, as the industry continues to take a wait-and-see attitude toward whatever is the next giant paradigm shift. The only lasting legacy to date is the set’s excellent music. The quintet has lent one track, “Nude,” to the folks at Variety, who’ve set the tune to this cool video of time-lapse footage taken amid the splendor of the Rocky Mountains at this year’s Telluride Film Festival. (Man, does this ever make me homesick for Colorado!)
