What's on your Must List?

While Tina Fey’s Joe-Six-Pack-loving Sarah Palin has been garnering a Bering Sea-sized wave of attention (we’re guilty too!), I think it’s time to pledge our allegiance to last weekend’s other impeccable SNL impersonation: Andy Samberg’s “Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals” (watch it below). I’ll admit the sketch’s concept isn’t super fresh (my mom’s been talking to her animals for years), but Samberg’s impersonation of the Boston boy is SPOT ON, down to the “Say ‘hi’ to your mother for me, okay?”

I hope Samberg can find time in between producing increasingly questionable digital shorts (“Space Olympics”? Wha?) to make his Mark Wahlberg bit a semi-regular thing. I’ve even got a few suggestions. How about teaming up with New Kids on the Block bro Donnie Wahlberg for a talk show spot a la “The Barry Gibb Talk Show” (singing and dancing included, natch)? Or how about a Funky Bunch reunion? Do I smell ”Even Better Vibrations”?
