Fall movies' misleading titles -- How the storylines of ''Lakeview Terrace'' and ''The Family That Preys'' could better match their monikers

Baffled by this fall’s bounty of vaguely generic movie titles, we boldly suggest some plot tweaks of our own.

LAKEVIEW TERRACE
What it is: Tense Samuel L. Jackson drama about interracial marriage.
What it should be: Charming Emma Thompson period romance about crumpets and teatime.

THE FAMILY THAT PREYS
What it is: Tyler Perry movie starring Alfre Woodard and Kathy Bates as friendly matriarchs.
What it should be: Wes Craven movie starring Robert Englund and Lance Henriksen as bloodsucking vampire brothers.

BODY OF LIES
What it is: CIA thriller with Leonardo DiCaprio as terrorist-tracking operative Roger Ferris.
What it should be: Cinemax-ready thriller with Jenna Jameson as heavily tattooed serial killer Cassie Fandango.

ZACK AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO
What it is: Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks) make a pornographic movie.
What it should be: Actually, thinking about it, in this case the title is pretty darned accurate.
