Noble jiu-jitsu fighter (Ejiofor) faces temptation: a corrupting Hollywood star (Allen, who’s terrific in Redbelt). Writer-director David Mamet (State and Main) doesn’t have the cinematic chops to film the fights with clear sight lines.
