Quentin Tarantino has generally been shrewd about giving his trash-movie heroes a second career, but in the case of Larry Bishop, who starred in late-’60s motorcycle-gang flicks like The Savage Seven, his generosity has backfired. Bishop wrote and directed this outlaw wheeler Hell Ride (presented by QT), in which he plays a long-sideburned rapscallion who’s too sexy for his chopper. It’s a claustrophobic dud, full of ludicrously purple tough-guy dialogue and lip-smacking vamps in bikinis (how hot!), with so much monotonous hip violence there’s scarcely room for anything else. D
