He boards the star-studded indie based on actor George Hamilton's eccentric childhood

(FROM VARIETY) — Add Renée Zellweger, Chris Noth, Nick Stahl, and Logan Lerman to the list of Kevin Bacon’s costars. The actor has signed on to appear with them in My One and Only, an independent film that has already started shooting in Baltimore. Directed by Richard Loncraine (Wimbledon) and written by Charlie Peters (Blame it on Rio), the movie is based on actor George Hamilton’s peculiar childhood, in which his eccentric mother drove up and down the East Coast looking for a wealthy man to take care of her family. Bacon will play the philandering fellow she attempts to leave behind. (Variety)
