(FROM THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) ? Alfre Woodard (Desperate Housewives) has joined Christian Slater in NBC’s new, upcoming drama My Own Worst Enemy. The show is about a seemingly mild-mannered suburban dad (Slater) who lives a secret life as a suave spy. Woodard plays his tough boss. The show will begin airing this fall on Mondays at 10 p.m. Woodard, a fixture in film and TV since the late ’70s, is a four-time Emmy winner. She also received a best supporting actress Oscar nod in 1983 for her role in Cross Creek. She most recently received two Emmy noms in 2006 for her yearlong stint on Housewives and for the miniseries The Water Is Wide. (Hollywood Reporter)
