The network that stole Project Runway away from Bravo announced a big change today: Susanne Daniels will resign from her position as Lifetime’s entertainment president. The co-architect of the WB joined the cable network in 2005 and oversaw the development of such programs as How to Look Good Naked and Army Wives, Lifetime’s highest-rated series in its 24-year history. She also reinvigorated the network’s movie department with such popular flicks as Life is Not a Fairy Tale: The Fantasia Barrino Story, which was Lifetime’s second highest-rated movie ever.

Daniels will stay on at Lifetime until a replacement can be found.
