(FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER) ? Samuel L. Jackson has signed a first-look network TV deal at CBS Paramount that will have him develop and executive produce series projects for the studio through his Uppity Films. The actor is also reportedly open to the idea of appearing in some of the series he’s involved in, similar to Salma Hayek’s arc in Ugly Betty, which she executive produces. Jackson previously produced Spike TV’s animated series Afro Samurai, which is returning this fall. He will next be seen on the big screen in The Spirit and Soul Men. (Hollywood Reporter)
