Though she remains in the shadow of her witty singer-songwriter dad, Loudon, and theatrical pop-crooner brother, Rufus, Martha Wainwright continues to eke out her own identity as a purveyor of confessional, twangy folk. On her second disc I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too, she muses on tormented relationships, like falling for a married man (in ”Bleeding All Over You”) or getting shafted by an unfaithful lover (”You Cheated Me”). They’re topics that are all too familiar, not to mention heavy — a weightiness that doesn’t quite match (or do justice to) her light, melodic warble. B-
