On May 21 in Orlando, ex-‘N Sync and Backstreet Boys manager Lou Pearlman, 53, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for conspiracy and money laundering. Pearlman, who pleaded guilty in March to defrauding investors of $300 million, may reduce his sentence by one month for every $1 million he repays…. New York’s governor gave a full and unconditional pardon to Slick Rick (né Ricky Walters), 43, on May 23. The London-born rapper, famed for trendsetting ’80s hits like ”Children’s Story,” is facing deportation after being convicted of attempted murder and weapons possession in 1991.
