From artsy movies to poppy albums to glossy melodramas, there are plenty of reasons it’s a great time to be a teen (or a teen at heart). Here are some upcoming releases to get psyched about.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager
(July 1) ABC Family goes Juno with this teen-pregnancy dramedy costarring Molly Ringwald.
Gossip Girl
(TBD) Spotted: the buzzy CW show returning to the airwaves with warm-weather romps in the Hamptons.
The teen net resurrects itself online with faves like Everwood and new programming.

American Teen
(July 25) This indie documentary about Midwestern high schoolers has garnered comparisons to The Breakfast Club.
(Aug. 29) Nickelodeon heartthrob/pop singer Drake Bell stars in this wacky campus-visit comedy.
High School Musical 3
(Oct. 24) The Disney Channel phenom comes to a theater near you, complete with swooning Zac Efron fans.

Jesse McCartney, ‘Departure’
(May 20) Four years after his hit “Beautiful Soul,” the 21-year-old churns out a more mature pop sound.
Miley Cyrus, Title TBA
(July 22) The tween queen leaves behind her recent scandal provoking and gets back to chart-topping.
Jonas Brothers, ‘A Little Bit Longer’
(Aug. 12) Another batch of infectious ditties to satiate the screaming throngs.
