Oliver Parker’s scattered indie drama follows a busy night at a London bistro and five workers, some of whom, well…see above. I Really Hate My Job sometimes feels less like a movie and more like a collection of conversational gambits in search of a plot — at one point, loopy waitress Suzie (Alexandra Maria Lara) asks, unprompted, ”Do you think oysters ever feel aggressive?” Still, there are charms to be found, like a magnetic, if overwrought, Campbell as the punky bartender and the elfin Shirley Henderson as a writer/cook whose dismal novel was just rejected for being too ”French.” EXTRAS None.
