The rapper and actor was arrested in Phoenix on Tuesday for speeding and reckless driving

(FROM AP) — DMX was arrested on Tuesday in Phoenix, Ariz., after traffic cameras caught him speeding on a suburban freeway three months ago. The rapper and actor, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was allegedly traveling 114 m.p.h. in his yellow 1966 Chevrolet. He was booked on charges of criminal speeding, public endangerment, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended license, and was released after posting bond.

On Jan. 21, law-enforcement cameras captured the entertainer driving in excess of 100 m.p.h. at three different intervals (the speed limit on the Scottsdale, Ariz., road is 65 m.p.h.). In one photograph released to the public, a decal with the letters ”DMX” is clearly visible on the car’s windshield. DMX’s lawyer had no comment. (AP via Yahoo!)
