John C. Reilly stars as a fictitious guitar icon in the music-biopic spoof Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, but he’s really just aping Will Ferrell, master of undignified flesh and ill-fitting tighty-whities. The original music is surprisingly contagious, but the Cox jokes — or, shall I say, joke — need more cowbell. EXTRAS An orgy of sophomoric high jinks: tittering sausage commercials; a jarring ”c— documentary” about male frontal nudity; and the aptly named Unbearably Long, Self-Indulgent Director’s Cut, featuring a Cheryl Tiegs-Dewey-Cheryl Ladd love triangle and at least 30 more d— jokes.
