I Don't Want to Go to School

Memo to minivan moms and dads maxed out on High School Musical: There’s still hope for family-friendly, unsucky rock music. The Naked Brothers Band, the boys from the popular Nickelodeon show, churn out boppy, poppy numbers ideal for living-room lip-synchs and drive-time distraction on I Don’t Want to Go to School. Preteens will enjoy the light-rawk pretensions, gentle rebellion, and jangly melodies reminiscent of early Hanson on tracks like ”Everybody’s Cried at Least Once.” Parents will just be seriously relieved their beloved progeny have graduated from Raffi.
